The long-awaited icOn 5 is now available for order.
I am impressed with the new icOn 5. It represents a great step forward from the already excellent and popular 4PRO. The optional input buffer + lower inductance autoformer (from Dave Slagle) and the fine adjustability (in 0.5 dB steps) with the tilt control provide an amazingly realistic sound. The unit also features 8 pairs of RCA sockets with user-reconfigurable functionality, and very precise volume adjustment (136 steps in an 83 dB range). I doubt that I will be able to create a better audio control unit in the future.
